I am drawn to the beauty of
things that feel discovered
rather than made.
My paintings are built through layers of paint, texture, scraping, sanding, veiling, and mark-making. I work intuitively, responding to what develops rather than following a predetermined outcome. I want each painting to feel
contemporary yet familiar, like something newly uncovered that already has a history.
